Chill Out! Winter in Melbourne has arrived!
The first half year of 2011 has gone in a flash. We are as busy as ever and interest in our craft and classes is still increasing. I think a lot of Melbournians are bored with DVDs and are looking for a fun filled activity which also includes meeting great people! Why not join them?
Sean has finally completed the large glass mosaic commissioned by St Kilda Gatehouse. It was made as four separate panels which when mounted on the wall were joined so that the final image is of a single panel. Check out our Gallery page for images. A great deal of thanks needs to go to Gemma and Sally of the Gatehouse as well as the girls who helped along the way. This project contains around 20,000 pieces of glass.
The interest in our classes is still growing so if you are interested get in quick!. Both the Wednesday and Thursday classes are nearing full capacity!
The students still amaze me. Their designs and work capability is extraordinary. See the images on our new page titles ‘Students Gallery’.
It should be remembered that most of these images are the students FIRST work and shows the enthusiasm and skill that they have picked over a few weeks
The classes include, glass mosaics, leadlight, copperfoil work.
Details of the classes are listed on the calendar page. Or just phone Sean on 0438 597 498 he is always happy to talk to you.
Other news.
The website is now hosted by an Australian company and so we do not expect any disruptions moving forward.
We will be holding another dinner in August to celebrate the imminent arrival of spring and the completion of a number of students works. Please call Sean if you would like to join us for an evening of glass chat, gossip and fun.
